Tuition is required prior to the start of the lesson. We accept credit cards (no AMEX), debit cards, and cash. We do not accept checks or vouchers.
You may cancel your lesson online or call Driversity. A minimum of 24 hour notice is required. Lessons canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are charged a $25 late cancellation fee. No further lessons will be scheduled until this has been paid. No Show Policy
It is your responsibility to know when you have scheduled your lessons. You must be prepared for your lesson. This means you must have your physical permit (every lesson), appropriate shoes and attire, and payment for each lesson. If you are not at the designated pick up place or you are not prepared for the lesson, a $50 fee will apply. No further lessons will be scheduled until this has been paid. Weekend and Evening Appointments
Driver training is conducted 7 days a week from morning until night. Driversity’s office hours differ from behind-the-wheel training hours. If you must cancel a lesson and cannot reach anyone at the office, please cancel your lesson online.
Appointment Time Policy
Instructors sometimes arrive a few minutes late. This is most always due to traffic. Please allow us enough time to accomplish the lesson. You will receive the full time for which you paid.
Our training cars are equipped with a training brake, additional mirror and other safety features. We only us Honda Civics. With the exception of our identifying logo on the cars (back window and left and right side panels) the cars are unmarked for privacy. Students enjoy the anonymity and it makes them much more calm. Calm drivers are better drivers. See? Everyone wins.
Video Recording of Lessons
Video recording devices record each lesson in the car as well as outside the vehicle. These videos are used for security and insurance purposes. We do not post these videos for marketing or other purposes.
All lessons are completely private. Each student must wear a mask, and will be asked to sanitize their hands and have their temperature taken with a touchless forehead thermometer. Cars are fully sanitized after every lesson.
If you charge your lessons erroneously (purchase too many, double pay, or live outside of our service areas) or simply change your mind, we will refund your money minus a 3% return fee to cover processing costs. If you change your mind within the same business day the charge occurred (before 4 pm) we can typically void the transaction and you will not be charged any fees. Your right to privacy is very important. We may ask for information from you, such as your physical address and contact information, which we need for communication. We may request information for paperwork as mandated by the Department of Motor Vehicles or Department of Education. It is our policy to never share your information with anyone not currently affiliated with Driversity®. Your information is never sold or utilized in any way to any individual, company, or entity – except by court order or the agencies mentioned above.
